Starfire is a scrolling ship game with gameplay based on Tyrian, one of the best scrolling game made. The game is similar to Tyrian, and very intuitive to learn. You must collect money in the game and upgrade your ship by buying ship components to defeat the powerful bosses.

There are some special features in this game, like Special Powers earned by killing bosses, and the Inertia (deceleration) of the ship. You enter the shop at the beginning of each stage. There you can upgrade parts of the ship to increase speed, damage and defense. Go through the instructions in the game to get a detailed understanding of the interface and get hints.
