Redcap Assault is about a Rogue Cupid called Rudo...Well, an adventurous and uncompromising Cupid! || The home city of the RedCaps is a dismal, dark and unpleasant place sometimes described as a suburb of hell itself. In this gloomy, mud-built city the RedCaps spawn their wicked plans and sharpen the silver arrows that cause division and strife between people. Any right thinking Cupid knows the fatal danger of venturing too close to the RedCap city, for it only takes 10 RedCap arrows to turn you into a RedCap.

To play the game, look at the Radar screen at the top right of the screen and wait for a color marker to appear. This indicates the position of a RedCap that has appeared in the city. Move your mouse cursor around the sniper crossbow screen to steer it around the RedCap city. The arrow on the Radar indicates your viewing direction. Turn until the arrow points to one of the color markers. When the arrow points to a color marker start looking around that section of the city for the RedCap. Once you spot the RedCap move the crosshair over the RedCap. When the crosshair is over the RedCap a color coded heart symbol with a number will appear. The color code indicates which guild the RedCap belongs to.

You get different points depending on where you shoot the RedCap. The number on the symbol indicates the point value of your shot. Once you have shot a RedCap its guild color will appear in the bonus points indicator on the right-hand side of the screen. If the next RedCap you shoot is from the same guild you will double the points of that shot. You also get bonus points for completing a level in the shortest time and you get double the amount of points for a Shooter. You can pick up bonus arrows by shooting the Cupid Quivers that appear. You can also repair your damage by shooting the Medi-packs that appear.
